My story

My name is Isaiah Teague. I am years young and originally from Fresno, Ca. My passion is to help change the world through spiritual knowledge. I am deeply interested in revealing how spirituality plays a role in our daily lives. I feel that an omnipresent power exists and shows itself daily in mysterious signs, coincidences, fate, and small miraculous moments we encounter.

 

My first spiritual awakening.

When I was 5 years old I lost my little brother & auntie to violence. Growing up & seeing my mother struggle in the aftermath of the trauma left me scarred. I really didn't understand the situation & why it happened. This event scarred my family & deeply impacted who I became. I became a reticent person, feeling confused, lonely, broken and misunderstood. But I also became deeply introspective and spiritually amazed at my own life, that I was alive. I was supposed to have gone with them that day when they were kidnapped and murdered. As I got older I took my life more serious than other people. However, going through that trauma played a big role on my mental health. When I was 16 years old I would resort to drugs & partying for comfort while a junior in "High" school. Eventually it became repetitive & I felt like I was living on the edge of life... The only way I kept my sanity was by Bedazzling my clothes to symbolize uniqueness. I attended Clovis East High School, a rich school down by Fresno. Here we couldn't wear certain clothing items such as: hats, jeans with holes in them, and sport team jerseys. Boys were not even allowed to wear earrings! It was a strict stressful set of rules for us students to follow. By rebelling, I designed my own clothing at first just in a artistic way without a spiritual component. But eventually after my second spiritual awakening, I was painting designs collaged with cut out patches from clothing and spikes from my old belts. As well as,The word "Godly" painted in some parts of the design.
